West Beach Resort Marina - Orcas Island  The West Beach Resort Marina is the only marina on the west side of Orcas Island. We offer floating docks, buoys and dry storage primarily for our guests' vessels, but we are also able to accomodate those not renting cottages or camping (based on availability). Our Boat Launch is located right on our property for your convenience. Due to the high demand for moorage in the San Juan Islands, we assess moorage charges for the period of your reservation. Please note that if you bring a trailered boat which is not moored, you will be charged, at a minimum, a "dry storage" fee. Dry stoorage is available in the parking lot only, and is subject to availability. There is no charge for "cartoppers" or other vessels which are not moored and do not consume space or utilize our launch ramp.
Gas, fresh water (not for filling holding tanks), a fish cleaning facility, and a dinghy for buoy access are located on the pier. No electric service is available. Showers, a laundromat and groceries are also available in our store. We also have espresso, ice cream, tackle, bait, beer/wine, ice, grill, and souvenirs.Our marina consists of roughly 750' of dock space designed in "fingers." We reserve dock space based on your unit and the date at which you made your reservation. Our cottage guests get first priority, then our RV guests, then our camping guests. We are able to accomodate most guests' requests, but dock space can be limiting during the extremely busy periods. If we are unable for some reason to issue you a dock spot, we always have plenty of buoys. Please note: We haul out most of our docks mid September and put them back in the water late May or early June. We leave our gas float in the water for mooring and fuel all year. We also have buoys (11 in the summer, 5 in the winter) and you are welcome to use our dinghy.
