Studio Deluxe Cottage

With breathtaking views of President's Channel and the Canadian Gulf Islands, this studio style ocean view unit is extremely private and cozy. Situated directly next to the resort, guests can enjoy the quiet and comfort of this quaint vacation rental cottage while still enjoying everything West Beach Resort has to offer. A quick one minute walk and you are on the resort grounds. The madrona will sleep a maximum of two guests. Sorry, no pets.

The living area is studio-style and features a super comfy brand new suite-quality queen bed, luxurious 310 thread count pima cotton linens with triple sheeting, and four pillows of varying firmness. Combine this unit's deluxe bed with the privacy of this unit and we think you're in for a real treat! A couch, full kitchen, gas stove for heat, rocking chair, a madrona slab bar top with bar stools, table and chairs, and lots of extra touches we hope you'll enjoy. Satellite TV with music channels is also included in the living area. Skylights let in ample light into the space, and hand- crafted timber posts and beams make this unit feel like it was your own home-built cabin in the most peaceful place on earth.

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, gas range, sink, coffee maker, toaster, and comes fully equipped with dishes and utensils for two people. Special items (i.e., large crab boiling pots, glass ovenware, etc.) may be available at the store, so be sure to ask if you need something that is not normally provided in the cottage. The Madrona's covered patio is equipped with an outdoor table and chairs, and a charcoal BBQ. A firepit with chairs and a picnic table is located right outside the cottage with a great view of the water and sunsets. You will often see deer around the Madrona as well, especially in the evening hours.

This cottage includes a full bathroom with towels and certain toiletries included. A cute little madrona slab vanity top compliments the decor of the bathroom. Bathroom Inventory

The Madrona has an optional campsite in addition to the main unit. The campsite is tucked back in a nice wooded area and is about 50 feet from the unit. Rated for three guests with a maximum of six, the campsite is perfect if you need a little more space. Base rate of campsite is $45 per night, and extra people are $12 each per night. The campsite may only be used in conjuction with the cabin (same party). Please specify in the notes section of the online reservation form that you would like the campsite.
