This larger studio-style garden cottage is popular for its king size bed with down comforter and separate bunkhouse. This is a very cute cottage with extra touches and amenities. Recent improvements include a tile floor in the kitchen and a remodelled walk-in shower in 2011. It has a large covered patio and stained cedar siding. Parking for Cottage 17 is on the north side of the building. It is rated for four guests, which includes the use of the king bed in the main unit and the bunk beds in the bunkhouse. This is a no pet/no smoking cottage. The living area consists of a wood-burning stove with blower, a comfy love seat and reading chair, and glass coffee table. You have a great little view of your small private yard overlooking our wildlife pond, and a peek-a-boo view of the water (not a full view). This cottage includes a full bathroom with towels and certain toiletries included. Bathroom Inventory The kitchen includes a refrigerator, range, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. This kitchen comes fully equipped with dishes and utensils for four people. Special items (i.e., large crab boiling pots, glass ovenware, etc.) may be available at the store, so be sure to ask if you need something that is not normally provided in the cottage. Kitchen Inventory This cottage's covered patio is equipped with an outdoor table and chairs, a BBQ with spatula, grill fork, and brush. A firepit area with chairs, hammock, and umbrella is located right outside the cottage with a great view of the wildlife pond and a partial view of the water and sunsets. The firepit and picnic table area are very private, and there is another smaller grassy area in front of the cottage that is also quite private. The bunkhouse is part of the Cottage 17 rental but is separate from the cabin itself. It consists of a bunk bed that will sleep two guests.
