 This classic beachfront cottage is one of four truly original "classic West Beach" cottages. It has recently been remodeled and has a charming finished interior and stained cedar siding. Parking is on the south side of the building. Cottage #12 is rated for four guests with a maximum occupancy of six. People especially enjoy this unit because it is located at the end of our property and offers a little more privacy. A beautiful entrance to the beach is also very inviting. Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Pet Agreement. No smoking, please.
The living area has beautiful hardwood floors and pine interior, electric heat, wood-burning stove, dining table and chairs, queen futon, coffee table, and a comfy reading chair.
The kitchen includes a refrigerator, range, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It comes fully equipped with dishes and utensils for six people. Special items (i.e., large crab boiling pots, glass ovenware, etc.) may be available at the store, so be sure to ask if you need something that is not normally provided in the cottage. There are two separate bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and electric heat. Both bedrooms are situated on the east end of the cottage and have shelves and mirrors. All linens are provided.
 The enlarged covered patio is equipped with an outdoor table and chairs, a BBQ with spatula, grill fork, and brush. Hooks for drying dive equipment or fish are also located on the patio. A firepit with chairs is located right on the beach in front of the patio. This cottage is also outfitted with your own picnic table and tiltable umbrella on the beach (late spring - early fall only).
The view from this cottage is what makes these cozy beach lodgings unique, special, and truly unmatched. Your cottage is situated directly on our prime walk-out sand and pebble beach, and the water is literally a stone's throw away from your front porch. There is something magical about waking up in the morning, brewing a cup of coffee, and listening to the sounds of lapping waves off your patio. And in the evenings, sit out at your own firepit and watch the absolutely spectacular sunsets over the Canadian Gulf Islands while "talking story" and fixing S'mores.
