"Hudson House"
 This classic beachfront cottage is popular due to its close location to the store, dock, and hot tub. It is a favorite for some of our guests who have been coming to West Beach for over 60 years. It has recently been remodeled and includes an upgraded and enlarged patio, cedar siding, and an enlarged bathroom. A parking space for one vehicle is located on the north end of the building. Cottage #1 is rated for four guests with a maximum occupancy of six. Well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Pet Agreement. The large grassy area directly behind the cottage is an excellent play area for both kids and pets. No smoking, please.
The living area has new carpet (2008), new linoleum floors (2007), pine interior, electric heat, wood-burning stove, dining table and chairs, a new futon (2007), coffee table, and a comfy reading chair.
The kitchen includes a refrigerator, range, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. A cute wooden cart for drinks or goodies is also included. This kitchen comes fully equipped with dishes and utensils for six people. Special items may be available at the store, so be sure you ask if you need something that is not normally provided in the cottage. Kitchen Inventory
This unit has the largest full bathroom on the resort. In fact, back when diving was more popular in the islands, Cabin 1 was designed as a diver's cabin with its large bathroom where divers could wash off their dive gear. You can see this design if you notice the drain in the middle of the bathroom floor. Heat, a hanging bar, towels, and certain toiletries are included. Bathroom Inventory
There are two separate bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. Electric heat is present in each bedroom. One bedroom has a westerly-facing window, the other has a southerly-facing window. All linens are provided.
 The enlarged covered patio on this cottage has made it popular. It is equipped with an outdoor table and chairs, a BBQ with spatula, grill fork, and brush. A firepit with chairs is located right on the beach in front of the patio. This cottage is also outfitted with your own picnic table and tiltable umbrella on the beach (spring - fall only).
The view from this cottage is what makes these cozy beach lodgings unique, special, and truly unmatched. Your cottage is situated directly on our prime walk-out sand and pebble beach, and the water is literally a stone's throw away from your front porch. There is something magical about waking up in the morning, brewing a cup of coffee, and listening to the sounds of lapping waves off your patio. And in the evenings, sit out at your own firepit and watch the absolutely spectacular sunsets over the Canadian Gulf Islands while "talking story" and fixing S'mores. This is the beach cottage experience you have been looking for... This is your cottage!
